My name is Vasilisa Ikonnikova. I am an artist from Saint-Petersburg, Russia,  currently living in Oakville, Canada. I am a digital artist finding my way back to traditional materials. I am also a diarist and a writing enthusiast.

In my work I explore personal topics : human connection with plants, growing up in an authoritarian country, the immigrant experience, family dynamics and human emotions. I draw and write about strong feelings that are often hidden inside. 

I am also inspired by travelling, learning about different cultures and books.
